A downloadable game for Windows

sorry it's really scuffed lol

Overview

Little Red Rocket Ship: Chaos Survivors is a planned prequel for Little Red Rocket Ship in which you take control of one of many of the Luminary Space Company's new line of android pilots sent off to investigate an ancient galactic threat only recently discovered.  This prototype is an early look at what the bullet hell gameplay may look like for this game, and feedback is more than welcome!  This is my first time taking a proper dive into a scoring system for a game like this.

Future

This game takes inspiration from an early vision of LRRS, back when it was going to be much more of an arcade roguelite experience.  I plan to expand on this by incorporating random stage selection, upgrades you can buy between levels, and stuff like that.  I also like the idea of a meta-progression system with mostly horizontal upgrades which give you more options and play styles.  BUT... all of that is subject to change.  And there's also no guarantee this will get finished any time soon.  This was originally meant to be a small project until I realized I vastly underestimated how much effort it would take lol.  In the meantime, stay tuned and feel free to voice your feedback!

Hey this is really polished and neat! All that's left is a button select sound! I was wondering, what is this being developed in?

Thank you!!  This game is being developed in GameMaker, which you should be able to get a free license for as an indie these days.
